A motivational local trading framework with 2-round auctioning and settlement rules embedded in smart contracts for a small citizen energy community

We propose a motivational local trading framework with 2-round auctioning system and novel settlement approach to stimulate transactions on the electricity surplus of small community. Two auction price systems several mechanisms are formulated compared assess profit market efficiency. also implement SC-based mechanism that embeds results rules increase trust in bidding processes. Our simulations use actual consumption generation data from 11 houses smart appliances self-generation capabilities. show auctions, if used consistently, can help development trade by encouraging people buy their neighbors invest more generating facilities, knowing there is which rely. Compared hybrid - Pay-as-Bid (PaB) 1st round plus Uniform Price (UP) 2nd approach, pure UP was shown decrease retailer 7.5%. The indicators quite similar for two pricing methods, whereas proposed reduces buyers' payments 7% increases sellers' encashments around 8%.
